Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to online sales by Copperclad Ltd trading as DoubleSeam Tools. DoubleSeam sells to business/trade customers and also to consumers. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
Business details
Copperclad Ltd trading as DoubleSeam Tools, Company No. 11541742, registered in England & Wales. VAT No. 411 9991 81.
Orders and contract formation
Website listings and quotations are invitations to order. The customer's order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when DoubleSeam clearly accepts the order. Manufacture or dispatch may be withheld until cleared payment is received.
Prices, tax and delivery
UK product pages show the ex-VAT price and the corresponding price including UK VAT where applicable. EU/overseas pricing and import charges depend on the delivery country and order type. Delivery charges are shown before the order is placed, or expressly marked as included for the European Decoiler.
Consumers
Where the buyer is legally a consumer, mandatory consumer rights apply, including the applicable rules for online/distance sales, faulty goods and cancellation. Goods made to the consumer's specification or clearly personalised are normally excluded from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.
Business / trade customers
Where the customer is buying wholly or mainly for their trade, business, craft or profession, the business provisions of these terms apply, including the agreed return, risk, title and liability provisions where legally permitted.
Custom products and artwork
The customer is responsible for approving logos, spelling, artwork, dimensions, specifications and configuration, and confirms that they have permission to use any logo or design supplied. Once approved and production has started, cancellation of personalised goods is not normally available.
Warranty and use
The Decoiler carries the 18-month manufacturer's warranty stated on its product page. Other products use the statutory rights applicable to the sale plus any product-specific warranty expressly stated. Fair wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised modification or use outside stated limits are not manufacturing faults. PPE, training, risk assessment and safe use remain the user's responsibility.
Law
So far as legally permitted, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer's jurisdiction remain unaffected.
